Can I disable a certified chat?

Yes, you can disable a certified chat. To do so, you can use the feature offered by Telegram.

To disable a chat, you will need to access either of the GoCertius apps or the GoCertius website, go to the Certified Chats section and find the chat you want to disable. Once you open the chat details, you will see a button to disable the chat.

Disabling a chat means that participants cannot share any more messages or attachments in that chat, but Telegram will still allow new participants with an invite link to join the chat or to react with emojis to existing messages in the chat. To maintain the consistency of the chat, GoCertius will continue to certify any actions permitted by Telegram.

Bear in mind that you can re-enable the chat at any time and disable it again as many times as you want, with no restrictions.
