How can I ensure that the photo or video has not been tampered with?

At GoCertius, we take the integrity and authenticity of certified digital documents, including photos, very seriously. That’s why our app utilizes the user’s phone camera to take the photo and record all metadata at the time it is taken, including the time, date and geographical location.

This means that, when you take a photo with GoCertius, a piece of unique, digital evidence is created that cannot be altered or tampered with. The app attaches all of the metadata to the photo and certifies them as part of the digital certification process, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of the image.

Plus, by using the phone camera to take the photo, it cannot be altered or tampered with prior to certification. This is because the app captures the image directly from the phone camera and certifies it at that instant, there by preventing any kind of manipulation.

In short, photos taken with GoCertius are unique and irreproducible, since they are captured directly from the phone camera and certified together with their metadata at the time they are taken. This ensures the integrity and authenticity of the image and prevents it from being altered or tampered with in any way.
